Background information on the event
The event was commissioned by the TechArt project of the City of Oulu.
TechArt organised two events on the same day. The day started with a TechArt forum at Oulu’s Tietoma, where topics such as the metaverse, artificial intelligence and how Oulu intends to realise its ambition to become a role model for technology, art and citizen participation were discussed. In the evening, the city hosted a reception at Oulu10. TechArt works in close cooperation with the Oulu2026 project. Oulu has been selected as European Capital of Culture 2026.
The starting point of the production
Our client had a special interest in having stylish mood lighting for their events, as Oulu was hosting the Lumo light festival at the time. Very quickly it became clear that there would also be a need for screens, sound equipment and a stage backdrop, for example. In addition, organising two events on the same day would require effective scheduling.
Our solution
Together with the client, we visited the premises and our team drew up an implementation plan based on the visit. We were available at all times to answer any further questions our client might have. The day before the event, we set up the technology for the Tietoma.
